About Kasey R. Coggin

Dr. Kasey Coggin has served in public education for 9 years. During that time, she served as an elementary classroom teacher for five years, an assistant principal for one year, and an elementary campus principal for three years. Entering education leadership at the young age of 27 and completing a doctoral degree by the age of 30, Kasey is passionate about providing quality education for her students, leadership, as well as inspiring others around her to never settle.
Accomplishments include being named District Teacher of the Year in 2016, and being nominated as "Top 20 in 2020" in a local magazine publication. Her most memorable accomplishments come from making a positive impact on students and their success.
Kasey earned a doctoral degree from Texas A&M University - Texarkana in 2019. Her research focused on the impact of mindfulness on principal stress.
